Camp Basics

At Bike Freedom Academy, our mantra — Balance! Play! Explore! — guides every ride, every game, and every joyful moment.

Our Learn to Ride a Bike summer Camp is a playful, confidence-boosting program designed to help kids ages 5–7 master the skill of riding a pedal bike — all at their own pace.

Through small group coaching, imaginative games, and lots of encouragement, we focus on building balance, coordination, and independence — both on and off the bike. We don't just teach kids to ride — we help them love the journey.

What to Expect

Every day at Bike Freedom Academy camp is a mix of movement, imagination, and skill-building:

  • Fun warm-up games to get bodies moving

  • Confidence-building bike challenges

  • Creative obstacle courses and playful pedal games

  • Breaks indoors for snacks, cool-down, arts and crafts, and regrouping

  • A supportive, flexible environment where each rider grows at their own pace

Kids will learn how to:

  • Balance, steer, brake, and pedal

  • Start and stop safely

  • Ride with confidence

  • Build resilience, patience, and focus through playful practice

Above all, they’ll leave camp with the joy of riding and a huge smile on their face!

Who is this Camp For?

Learn to Ride designed for kids ages 5–7 who are ready to ditch the training wheels but haven’t learned to pedal yet.
